The Mirage 583 Freeride is a wonderful new seakayak - also new in category; Open Deck freeride seakayaking. This kayak takes its hull design from the Mirage 580 and with the smooth rocker, the kayak surfs solid waves like a dream. It is fast and very stable.
If you don't like sitting inside a cockpit, then this open deck style is much nicer. There is a large rear (oval) hatch that holds a lot of gear. I have been mostly surfing my new Freeride and love it!!
