I have been guiding canoe…
I have been guiding canoe trips in northern Ontario for close to 20 years and have used many paddles. A few years ago I came across Lolk paddle and it has been my go to paddle since. The paddle is flexible yet strong, attractive and durable. Yes, I have had to put a fresh coat of varnish on it after a summer of trips, but it looks as good as the day I bought it.
I would highly recommend these paddles to any one who spends time in a canoe. Be prepared to save money as this will be the last paddle you buy.

I have been using Lolk cherry…
I have been using Lolk cherry paddles for trips and high end instruction for over 15 years and they are exceptional paddles. They are light weight, strong, durable, a large blade surface area that is a silent and imperceptable work horse, as well as being adequately narrow to facilitate rotation .... the best flatwater paddles I have used in 35 years paddling!

The Lolk Paddles are magical…
The Lolk Paddles are magical wooden canoe paddles -- light, strong, flexible. Ash or cherry (go for cherry!) Big blades to pull lots of water. Long flexible shafts for hours of comfortable flat water paddling. Contoured profile for smooth strokes through the water. Beautiful finish.
