This board is a great improvement from the original Comet. It has added stability to help you get in and out of the surf when paddling beyond surf. This company builds exceptionally strong boards. Everything from the research Hovie puts into they're designs,construction to the paint is top notch. They set out to build superior boards and do just that.
Pros
light weight yet strong
very fast
do not pearl easily in surf
designs not only exceptionally functional but look great too
Cons
prices are high....but you get what you pay for
Usage
this is a great race board equally as good for touring
