Mirage® Pro Angler 17T Description

With innovative multiple seating options for one or two casters, the 17T is the king of Pro Anglers. Set up the fully adjustable Vantage XT Seating (extra tall) in the in-line tandem configuration, face- to-face, or as a single; three steering handles cover all the possibilities. Fishing rod storage both front and rear holds an astounding dozen rods. Customize accessory placement on more than 20 feet of H-Rail system. Both users can stand and fish in comfort and each cockpit is fitted with a large rectangular hatch with pivoting tackle management system and under-seat storage. An aft battery platform stands ready to house a 12v trolling motor battery or more gear. Now outfitted with dual MirageDrive 180s with new Kick-Up Fin Technology.

I've had my PA17T (with MD…

I've had my PA17T (with MD 180 ST Turbo V1 fins) for almost a year and am thrilled with this kayak. I take it out tandem and solo in salt water on the southern outer banks. Very stable, easy to pedal and extremely comfortable. Only downside is that it is heavy. I launch by myself but for most people this will be a two person effort.

I purchased this fishing…

I purchased this fishing kayak so my son and I could fish together on a private lake that we reside on all year. We have the tandem Mirage drives which are amazing. We can approach 6-7 miles an hour when we cycle together. The 17' boat is easily manuevarable and easy to switch into reverse if needed. We added the electric Torqueedo motor which is quickly and easily connected. We also added a sail but we haven't tried it yet. I would absolutely purchase this kayak again. It has assisted in landing many Largemouth and I could easily see a novice fisherman all the way up to an expert pro being satisfied with this state of the art fishing kayak.
