Eaglet III Description

The Eaglet hull is a downsized version of our versatile Eagle tandem canoe. Hemlock offers three versions. Eaglet III is a solo/tandem combination canoe. Rigged with two seats and a solo kneeling thwart. A third seat can replace the kneeling thwart. All Eaglet versions are symmetrical hulls. Hull Laminates and trim are specific for each version. Recurved sides as in the Eagle allow comfortable solo paddling at the center of a hull wide enough to allow tandem stability. Nicely flared ends enhance seaworthiness. Highest quality materials combined with careful workmanship yields a durable and visually appealing canoe that you will enjoy paddling and be proud to own.

The Hemlock Eaglet is for...

The Hemlock Eaglet is for me the one boat that can do it all. I have the Eaglet III combi.version. So I enjoy paddling it solo and it works as a great stable platform for fishing or photography. But heel her over some and what a fun Freestyle canoe.

This boat works well for my wife and I as a day-tripping tandem (we weigh under 300lbs.)It moves right along with stability and ease. For the right size people looking for a quality handmade versatile and fun canoe this is it.
