The Envy 11 is my 2nd kayak.…

The Envy 11 is my 2nd kayak. It's my first sit-in. It's light enough to lift and portage. It's stable and tracks well. The cockpit is roomy enough for me (a pretty stout guy) and a smallish grandchild.

It's a dream in smooth water; a great kayak to develop skills in. Nicely maneuverable.

I've had it out in moderately windy water. It handled it pretty well, but it would need a spray skirt because that big opening.

The waterproof storage isn't waterproof. I'm going to have to reattach the styrofoam flotation block in the bow. I think superglue will work better than the screw it originally used.

Overall, I am very pleased with my Envy 11.

I'm new to the sport. Started with borrowing a friends Envy 11. It's smooth and quick through the water. The tracking is great. It's very stable but designed so it can be brought up on edge. Great for recreational kayaking. I didn't like the non-water tight rear storage, and no drain plug.

Perfect kayak for clam water.…

Perfect kayak for clam water. Lakes, ponds, lazy rivers are great. Tracks well, good stability. When I took it in the ocean it also was pretty stable even in a heavy chop. The one negative I had was the waves seemed to break over the sides quite easily if I took a wave broad side. I got quite wet but it was fun. If I could redesign it I would add a drain plug. This is my 2nd full season with it. The only repairs I have done was resealed the wall to the dry storage (leaked from day 1) and the front foam piece came loose and needed to be reattached. Great hybrid kayak for a beginner and bigger paddler.

I'm new to the sport. Started with an entry level kayak and quickly switched to the Envy 11. It's smooth and quick through the water. The tracking is great. It's very stable but designed so it can be brought up on edge. The huge open cockpit is what drew me to this model. Great for recreational kayaking.
Drawbacks: The hatch for dry storage is small. No drain plug.

Recently purchased the Emotion Envy 11... my first kayak... very pleased with it. It handles great... extremely stable... have even done photography from it; hand holding a $5K camera... never a fear of rolling.
Perfect all around kayak.

I bought this kayak to use in the back bays. Glides effortlessly and handles great. After using it once, my wife tried it out... now it's hers and she loves it. It has a comfortable seat, dry hatch and mesh storage bag.
