Bought a streamer because at 10’ 7” it is the only canoe that fits into my apartment elevator. Use it as a solo fishing boat for lakes in central and northern Ontario. Bit hard to get in and out of if you are trying to access a rocky shore and don’t want to scratch the gel coat. This is because you're sitting on the bottom.
Once on the lake seems quite stable and can move relatively quickly. Haven’t had it out in waves yet, but think it will do OK.
Built a detachable yoke because it’s difficult to portage if you’re carrying a pack, paddle, and fishing rod over rough terrain, even though it only weighs 18 lbs. This should come with the canoe. Never-the-less, it was easy to build and works well.
It’s much better than a kayak for fishing with lots of room in front and behind.
