I have the gatorshell HD. It is much tougher than the typical fiberglass sup, but it is still requires some care. It is not like the rotomoulded kayaks. It is an amazing board. It offers speed, stability, & confidence in spades! I paddle it in 2' chop, fish from it, and regularly paddle long distances (have done as many as 10 miles and regularly paddle 6) in all kinds of conditions, even some that some lesser rec kayaks can't manage. Fast, I keep the pace and even set it with my touring kayak friends. If you need or want an sup, this is the do it all board. Love it!
