I tried paddle boarding for the first time and this board was absolute perfection. I am pretty short and I don't weigh that much, but I still felt very grounded despite the large size. It was extremely stable and I even managed to fit one of my friends on it with me. This board is perfect for doing yoga, napping, or just paddling like a boss. I will use it all the time!
Pros
-plenty of room
-very stable
-everyone can fit on it
-you don't need to be a pro to figure it out
-easy to get bak on if you fall off
Cons
It was a little longer than I expected
Usage
touring or exercise(YOGA)

My first time on a SUP (I've been wanting to do this for years!) was on a family friend's BIC 11'4 ACS on Lake Michigan.
After the first half-hour of struggling to stay upright in the choppy waves, I found this board to be very stable and a ton of fun!
I'm currently saving-up to get my own BIC SUP!
Pros
Stability, design aesthetic, build quality.
Cons
Nothing!
Usage
Exercise, surf.

I absolutely loved my time on this paddle board. I especially enjoyed the stability and the speed I could pick up with this board. I feel there is ample control for my size (195 lbs) and larger. Traction pad is comfortable and I feel I could spend hours on this board without any issues.
Pros
I like the control and speed of this board.

I have rented many different boards, and ended up buying the BIC SUP ACS after testing it extensively about 3 years ago. I use it primarily in the Atlantic ocean cruising in protected coves and channels, some lakes/ponds, as well as the beach with small to moderate waves.
Pros
Stability, bulletproof materials and construction, it can be run on rocks and transported without worrying about damaging it.
Cons
Heavy
Usage
Touring, exercise, exploring.

This is my first SUP. It is a big one but it accomodates everyone who has tried it. I use it on Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Va. I mostly use it in my cove and the nearby coves where I can avoid boat traffic. It was a gift for my 60th birthday and I love it. I had seen SUPs in magazines but never tried one. I didn't know if I could do it or would like it until I got this one. It exceeds all my expectations. One warning: SUPing is addictive!!
Pros
It is very stable and easy to balance on. I can get on and off of it on our dock or from the water. After the first time when you feel very wobbly, you gain confidence and each ride is smoother. It is good for all ages from my 7 year old nephew and 11 year old niece who get on together to my much older friends and family.
Cons
It is big and I need help getting it in and out of the water from my dock.
Usage
I use it for exercise because it is a super core workout and for cruising around beautiful Smith Mountain Lake.I have not seen many SUPs here although they were available to rent this summer. I bet I will see alot more next summer as they gain popularity once people try them.
