This carbonfibre 210cm paddle…

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 9/26/2007
This carbonfibre 210cm paddle (made in Canada, eh?) is very light. It has smaller scooped blades (5.5"X18") which make paddling a breeze. At first, I thought this paddle was too short after using a 220 cm. Grey Owl Sirocco but after getting used to "high paddling", I find it just the right length. It is very comfortable to use and although the blades are on the small size, it still gives enough grab to push my Tomahawk 13 along very nicely under all kinds of conditions, including 35 mph winds and 6' waves on Lake Erie.

It's ferrule allows for unfeathered or 60 deg. feather, right or left. Oh yeah, and it floats!

A nice little paddle that does the job admirably. The only negative is that it is a bit noisy on entry/exit strokes when really digging. Not a big deal.
