Broke in half while a girl was putting on the fin. It was still halfway in the box with wrapping. We called their office and they were extremely rude.

Surf Friendly

Submitted by: paddler357852 on 5/4/2017

This board does seem to glide well and is not the best board around but a good entry level surf board up to 200 pounds. However, they do ding easy. Easy surf and flatwater paddling are best. It handles decent in flat water. The price is right.

Do Not purchase these. I purchased 2 of these boards. Great price and quality looks ok, however they are extremely poor quality. My 100 lb. children were using these boards in gentle surf and when they rode the boards in and they beached them both boards broke at the tip. I could understand if the surf was extreme, however it was not the case. Best way to describe the scenario was a gentle, 1 foot wave. Once again with riders that were approximately 100 lbs. I submitted the attached photos to SUP ATX customer support and never received a response. I proceeded to try following up via phone and could not get a customer service agent on the phone and never received a response to my email or voicemails. I finally got thru by calling sales and asked to be transferred. The response was it is not covered under warranty. Both boards have been used 3 times and they advertise them as being capable of being used in the surf. Definitely not the case. I would not recommend purchasing this product unless you want the same result and experience I had. Both are going to be sent to the dump and will be looking to purchase a quality product that will not break under normal conditions. Pros Cons Usage

I get many compliments on the appearance of this board! I'm 5'2 and 120# so this board is great for someone my size. I've tried it in a variety of conditions and have been pleased. I think it works best in surf but I use it in flat water all the time, I just remove the side-bites. I've had it for a year and have had no issues. Seems to be quality and was a good price. Also love the SUP ATX CFA paddle! It's so light! Pros Light weight, beautiful color, traction pad is comfortable. Cons It's made for a smaller person and works best in surf. It doesn't come with any deck rigging. Usage Used it on flatwater, slow moving river, and small surf.

This was a sweet all around board. Used it on a dusk ride in the Gulf of Mexico. Handled well on waves and was stable in the flat water. Speed could have been better, but without a planing hull, it still held its own. Would definitely recommend to a beginner to novice rider. Pros Cons Usage

Rented this board for a large lake paddle and was an excellent ride. Flat water paddling was smooth and easy, while I also had no problem balancing and moving through wake. This board was stable and tracked well. Pros Stability is a big plus. Also could be used for a variety of SUP activities. Cons Could have been just because it was a rental, but I prefer boards that have are equipped with a cargo net or strap. As well, this was a bit slower than other boards I've used in the past. Usage Exercise or touring.

Great board to get around anywhere. The lift handle is my favorite, easier to carry. I use these boards for yoga and fitness. It is a tri-fin as well, very stable for surf option as well. Pros Colors, lift handle, tri-fin, fitness usage. Cons Could use me tie downs in the front. Usage I use it for touring, exercise and yoga.
