Description
Beautiful Kevlar solo canoe made by Ted Bell of Bell Canoe Works (now
under the name Northstar Canoes). This canoe is in excellent condition. I
never thought I would sell it but I am moving out of the country and it
sadly must go.
This Rockstar model is composed of Kevlar with aluminum trim. It is
stiff, solid and well constructed, and an all-around performer for the
soloist. The thwarts are made of walnut while the handles are ash with
ABS end caps. The Wenonah sliding bucket seat is fitted to a
floor-mounted aluminum pedestal with adjustable foot braces.
Dimensions: Length 15'6", L/W ratio 6.2, max width 31", gunwale width
27", Rocker 2.5" bow and 1.5" stern, approximately 32 lbs. (as noted by
Bell, but I believe it is closer to 40 lbs).
