The Oru Bay ST is the original folding Oru Kayak that has withstood the test of time. It was launched on Kickstarter in 2012 and has been sold by retailers around the world. It’s even in the permanent collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Oru updated the Bay ST in 2017 making it stable enough for beginners while fast and sporty for expert kayakers. What you’ll experience is a closed-cockpit performance kayak that’s versatile and super light at only 28 pounds. The Bay ST is built for a variety of water types and conditions and is rollable in the event of capsize. There is plenty of room to stash gear for day trips and short camping excursions.
