Description

I had this boat custom built on an Amaruk double kayak base. It has a carbon fiber cockpit and coaming, compartments, and coaming, and 8 layers of Kevlar on the bottom. The "base" boat is fiberglass.

There is a ton of storage in this boat, enough for 120 days easily. I don't use it very much anymore and I'd prefer that it be back on the water than sitting in dry storage. Rows very nicely, super stable. I've been out on the ocean with it and never worried about tipping with the oars in the water. The coaming keeps out all but the largest waves. Has a bit of wear on the bottom as one would expect from beach landings, and one small dent in the carbon fiber coaming, but other than that is very good shape.

It has two large "lockers" for storage in the cockpit as well as six access hatches to the space around the cockpit. It also has fore and aft hatches as a normal kayak would. It comes with a boat trailer (see pics), but the boat trailer needs new a new axle (a few hundred bucks from Trail Ex) to be operable.

Comes with a Piandedosi Row Wing sliding seat rig and Piantedosi oars. Oars have been sanded and refinished recently as has the seat and foot stretchers on the Row Wing. Spare oars available at additional cost. Due to injuries and time constraints I don't get out on the water much anymore so it's time to say goodbye to this one of a kind boat so it can be used as it was intended.
