This is such a wonderful kayak, have had many good times paddling but I fell and fractured my hip (recovering from hip replacement) and prob not going to be doing something like paddling for quite a while. I bought this kayak used, I believe around 2012 or so.I don't think they are making these out this material anymore (something about prohibitive costs). I think it's kevlar and fiberglass, not sure, can't recall and it's hard to find the info on it now since it is discontinued. It's been sitting out in the yard covered, needs a good cleaning, also the deck rigging is not really tight and bouncy, you may want to replace if you are loading it. There is a little hook thing that the rope that pulls the skeg up or down fits into, a part of it broke off, it still works the way it is, but you may want to replace. I think it just has one screw to replace. It has a cover on it and that goes with it. I will throw in a set of paddles also, I think they are just the standard chute kind. This is so easy to maneuver, so easy to paddle and it fairly flies. Hope you will love it as much as I do. Serious inquiries only as I am unable to get out and about outdoors much at this point of my fractured hip replacement recovery and will have to have someone else here to help me show it and contain the dogs in the back yard where it is.
