This is a Kevlar composite canoe with a gloss gel coat. Length is 15’8”, gunwale width is 30.25”, depth at center 13”. Paddler weight range (plus gear of 70#) is 160 to 275#. It was made by Phil Sigglekow (owner/builder/designer) of the original Black Hawk Canoe Company in Janesville, Wisconsin. There were a small number of these made from what I have heard. It’s 15 ft 8" long. It has a shallow rocker. It weighs about 39 lbs. Great for portaging and lots of room for gear. Ends have sealed air pockets for flotation. Excellent initial and secondary stability. Hull is in very good condition. Wood gunnels are in very good condition and are treated with linseed oil. Current set up is for solo paddling (cane seat) but can easily be converted for tandem (2nd seat and standoffs not included). There is very little flex in the composite layup. Comes with 54” Kevlar bent canoe paddle and 60” Grey Owl wooden straight paddle and canoe boat sleeve tarp cover. I'm selling it as I don't use it much anymore.
