Trip Overview

Gorgeous warm fall afternoon, light wind, (with some gusts)and a moderate amount of boaters and anglers on the water mid to late afternoon.

Water level down significantly from late summer and as recently as 2 weeks ago. Estimate is 8-10 feet below normal water level (driest October in 8 years!)

Accommodations:

Porta potty, ample parking off of Route 650 (New Hampshire Ave)

Fees:

WSSC Water shed permit available at Brighton Dam Visitor's Center.

Directions:

North of Route 108 (about 5 miles) off of Route 650 (New Hampshire Ave).

Resources:

Recommend getting map at visitor's center, since geography is quite similar once on the water.
