Trip Overview
I highly recommend this Lake, it is gorgeous! I saw at least a dozen herons, other birds and waterfowl, red sliders, snappers, an eagle, deer, in only 5 hours. Wow. Worth the $4.50 launch fee. The gentleman at the boathouse was very helpful and gave me a map explaining where I could and could not go. I only saw a couple of boats and for many hours I was alone in nature in absolute peace and quiet. Perfect way to clear my mind.

Portage Notes
Large enough to launch motorboat, plenty of parking.
