I have not seen this 12.7 mile part of the river documented in a blog, vlog, or YouTube. We used a Mad River Revelation 17' tandem canoe. The water levels were low. But, this makes this section of the river a great opportunity to teach a bow and stern paddling student how to turn and control a canoe with a much reduced chance in flipping. Long stretches of the river had maybe 4"-6" of water over sand. A few small stretches less than 4" that requires some short wading. The obstacle are many providing navigation chances to get steering and control before going into deeper water. Bonus, no other paddlers other than when we approached the exit point.
We saw Trout, Geese, Mallard Ducks, and four Apache Helicopters overhead.
