This excellent 500+ acre lake is very close to metro Atlanta and is ideal for a quick exercise session, try a demo boat, and short trips of 2 - 4 hours. Water is relatively clean and deep. Secure and adequate parking at boat ramp
Access is from a boat ramp also used by small powerboats. Longest one-way distance is about 2.5 miles, but there are lots of inlets for exploring. Also, you may see a large paddleboat [see picture] and hear the 730-bell carllion out on the lake.
