Trip Overview

This is a full loop that takes you along the intercoastal between Allison Island and 23rd street, then follows the Dade Canal bordering Dade Avenue on Brach all the way to the Venetian Causeway. Waters are protected all this first 7 miles round trip

Paddlers can optionally go into Biscayne Bay and circumnavigate Belle Island and go to the Flagger Monument Island in the middle of the bay. This extends the round trip to 11 miles (approx).

This is a different way to see south beach and the people who actually live in the area on a permanent basis.
