A trail wraps around the lake at Sharon Woods. They offer boat rentals, but the lake also features a kayak/canoe launch.
The round trip from the launch point past the harbor, under the bridge and back again takes about an hour at a leisurely pace.
Our Sunday morning cruise felt crowded with several other boats on the water and many people circling the lake on the trail.

Pay attention to the buoys warding boaters away from the damn.

The trip down the trail to the launch point a is fairly level and paved. The launch point has a good gravel / sand base.
