Trip Overview

Quick 2 kayak ride from Plymouth, IA to Nora Springs.

3.5 hour trip.

Water flow was good, river was plenty high. Limestone drops and small dam.

Pass through a couple camp grounds with restrooms if needed.

3 cattle fences that were easily cleared on kayak.

The dam in Nora Springs is too large to attempt. Portage around or finish in Nora Springs.

Easy access at park North of Plymouth.

Easy exit at park in Nora Springs.
