A self-supported trip created by paddler415010

Trip Overview

Put in river left down stream of current bridge and before old covered bridge. Need a 4x4 to drive down dirt road to the trail that leads to the bank. Trail to the bank is overgrown, has downed trees, other obstacles, and steep. Not easy but Doable. Float is rated difficulty of 0 with no hazards by John Foshee. Fairly scenic, peacful, and nice float overall. Fishing can be excellent for bream, spotted bass, and channel catfish. Take out is downstream, river right of hwy 13 bridge. Decent launch/take-out. You Can get a vehicle about 25yds from bank. Room for several to park.

Conditions

2.35 on hwy 79/231 gauge.
