My local Kyak group advised St Cryst Church, Storehouse for the first ever launch as it has two lovely canal side jetties and is only 4ft deep should i fall in i could stand up in mud/silt. This route was perfect for me and absolutely serene. Quietly paddling along getting use to tracking with no current to battle, i soaked in the view and got close to wildlife. Truly beautiful! I will revisit but they are about to close the road and canal footpath for a while to do urgent pipework.
Safety Notes
Very safe as no currents and regular dog walkers, cyclists and joggers to help if needed.
