We kayaked Lake Julian on April 29, 2018. We circled the lake twice, estimated 3 miles each round. The winds were getting fairly heavy that day and you could really feel it out in the water. Would have been a great day to wind surf, maybe we need some kites to pull us around on our yaks :). The lake itself is nice, pretty easy to launch from. Cost was $8 per kayak. They have annual passes available for $50 per year per kayak. For the annual pass they will put a sticker on your yak indicating that you are an annual pass holder. A few amount of people fishing and paddling the waters. The park offers paddle boats for rent, fishing is an extra charge.
