Trip Overview

Started 20 minutes to low tide (620am) on a Tuesday in July. Wind was 5 knots west to east, 78 degrees, sunny. Took Brown's river to Hampton Harbor, past bridge to mouth of harbor and tip of jetty. A few charter boats and regular fishing boats. Easy paddling out despite tide coming in. On way back not too bad, had current going in but had 5 knot headwinds at times. Made it back around 830am so about 2 hrs out and back at mostly leisurely pace with some breaks for water and photos.
