Trip Overview
This small lake west of Sioux Falls was a pleasant surprise; unlike most area lakes in midsummer - it was not bright green with algae bloom. The access area is on the east end of the lake, just a graveled slope.
It only took us a couple of hours to paddle around the whole lake, but the bird life was abundant: gulls, white and blue herons, geese, and a good sized flock of pelicans.
