Trip Overview
The Flat River from Greenville down is very nice -- very slow and fairly wide, it meanders along for a nice mellow cruise.
We caught bass and some panfish. It runs through a nice preserve, so the houses are few. We went about 3 hours down and came out at a nice bridge with good parking, at a bit of a steep launch.
We will be paddling it this winter; should have a whole new look. I didn't see another boat on the trip.
