Trip Overview
Dropped in on the south side of Englewood Dam (Near Aullwood Gardens) and floated and fished to Wegerzyn Gardens takeout. Total trip time was about 5 1/2 hours. Water level is low, but only had to get out of the Kayak 1 time. I didn't see another boat during the entire trip. Caught some smallmouth, rock bass, crappies and bluegill. This section requires quite a bit of paddling. The river is named the Stillwater for a reason. There are 3 sets of small rapids. Nothing to be concerned about. Overall a very relaxing enjoyable day.
Portage Notes
minor due to low water level
