Description
Small jetty and area suitable to launch Kayak. Note this is private land, but they have let us launch here after first asking permission. Better used as a destination from other near by launch points. Near the tower is a small semi steep path from carpark leading to the river. The river is generally slow moving around here. Down stream will take you towards Lake Nagambie via a dedicated water ski zone. Heading up river will take you to Major Creek, or past Mitchelton Winery. River speed limits and zones can be found on signs around Lake Nagambie. Tahbilk has a cafe, wine tasting, decent toilets. Check their web page for opening hours.
