Similk Beach

Similk Bay

Description

At the northern most point of "Puget Sound" is a nice launch site. With northerly summer afternoon breezes, this would be well protected. With south wind, this would be exposed.
It is not clear who owns the property here, but it is clearly used as a public launch site. The beach is totally covered with drift wood, however, on the November afternoon we visited, a 30 foot wide break had been made in the drift wood that appeared to have been used as a makeshift boat ramp.
There is plenty of parking, and a picnic table, but no restrooms.
Signs said "no camping".

Updated Aug 2020:

Signs say this is Tribal land. Boat launch for non-motor biats stated ok. 2 hour parking. Long carry at low tide.
