Just came back from a 5 day stay in Moonta Bay caravan park. The paddling was amazing first thing in the morning. Took both the 14 footer and the 10.2 inflatables (big Red and little Blue) Launched from the small boat ramp to the left of the jetty. Chased the sun as it rose for an hour an a half both days when the there was not a breath of wind. Only came back in because the wind picked up. Was able to go out twice in the 5 days Be mindful of the jelly fish this time of year in the warm water. BIG 4 Caravan park amazing place to stay and there is so much to see and do in Moonta. Also Port Hughes has a fantastic cafe right by the jetty. Amazing gluten free veggie burger and dairy free almond ice creams.
