Little manatee River Kayak/Canoe launch

Little Manatee River

Description

Large kayak launch that they have built out of concrete because it continuously gets washed out in the summer. This one works great! A series of rollers that let you drop your boat and slide it down the rollers straight into the water launch spot. Make sure to bring a 30 foot rope that you will tie to the bow or stern. They do have some type of launch mechanism but it is continuously inoperable. We used the rope, and I was easily able to lower the kayak down to my husband at the water edge. Easy to pull it up as well! It look like it was going to be tough, but it worked! A stunning little river, and a great way to launch your boat!
