Description
James Island Marine State Park is usually the last night's camp area. James Island is known for it's incredible views of Mt. Baker and the Cascade Mountains. It has lovely paths across it's forested interior, as well as some very nice campsites.
Orca whales are often seen here in the early morning hours as they swim with the out-going tide towards the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
