Description
A new canoe/kayak launch created by the village of Greenwood Lake, this is the first public launch for the entire lake. It is located across the street from the new fire station. Parking is free, and room for about 10 cars. A small carry down to the water. The north arm of Greenwood Lake is a narrow channel of the main Lake. It is about a mile to the open water. There are several marinas in the channel, but the speed limit is strictly enforced. The main lake can be hazardous to paddlers on busy summer days, but the channel itself is fine at all times.Location & Directions
