This entrance allows you to avoid the dam and head down the Burnt River. On weekends there is a market but you can drive through and reach the park where there is parking for ~10 cars. There is a porter potty but sometimes it’s locked.
Launch is down a few rocks and easy to access. We paddle from here and took out at Sommerville Centennial Park. Not a paddle for beginners as there are about 8 portages and it’s about 6 hours.
