I'm 70 and love my original Telos. I've modified the retaining clip for the plastic ratchet trak so that I can remove the cradle hooks when they were not being used. Now I can pack the Telos lifting tracks in a kayak paddle bag with the cradle hooks packed in with the PFDs. I've also put a drop of crazy glue on the threads of the spring loaded ratchet locks, no longer for the ratchet's missing spring, piston, or other parts. The only parts that's hard is getting my kayaks into the cradle during loading, being only 5'10".
