Profile

I've owned the AE1009 kayak for 2 years and have put in with it over a dozen times. This was my first kayak. It's stable and tracks pretty well despite it's 32" wide profile. It gets packed with a spare pump, lunch for two, two 1L water bottles and towels for half-day trips.

I've used it on flat water streams, rivers and lakes. Due to it's width it does take more effort to paddle through a current or wind. However, the overall design ticks the boxes for portability, stability, storage and comfort. It draws curiosity from nearly every other paddler it's been in view of. It's been a great boat and I look forward to more exploration with it in my local waterways!
