We have taken numerous long paddles with it since we got it in May of this year and overall we love this kayak. Not too heavy but very sturdy. . Only a couple minor complaints;
1) While the seat backs are solid and lock in nicely, there is no cushion or support for your bottom. We typically kayak 4 - 5 hours at a time and it does become uncomfortable after a few hours. We are looking into getting cushions or better seats.
2) There is a cup holder for the front seat but not for the back seat.
Other than that it is a very good kayak that I would highly recommend.
