The Crescent Lite Tackle, my 7th kayak, is a great kayak - the best I’ve ever owned or used. As a 6 + footer weighing 240 pounds I can stand fairly easily although there is a bit of a learning curve as with any other kayak. I love the open deck layout and the tracking - top marks for both. The seat is very comfortable and the rear tankwell very generous. The front storage hatch is huge, maybe the biggest in its class. The Lite Tackle tends to want to ride up over chop rather than thru it which I prefer. The carry handles are not very comfortable but they are rugged- I doubt they’d break easily. The side storage compartments are genius and one of the best features of the kayak. Overall I am very pleased; this is one of the top kayaks in its class and price range. I have no regrets about the purchase.
