My husband and I have purchased 2 of the advanced frame sport kayaks primarily to be able to travel with time on a plane. We have not taken them on a plane yet, but have traveled with them to Voyageurs National Park and we were able to take them as luggage to Isle Royale, saving us money. In Voyageurs we used them for Kayak camping and they handled very well on rough waters with our gear, we feel we would have been swamped if we were using our hard shell boats. We also enjoyed paddling them on Lake Superior at Isle Royale. We have also played with the dolphins at Edisto Beach. Hopefully this year we will get the opportunity to travel with them to the west coast.
