Rugged beginner kayak. That about says it all. It also features 2 storage areas. Make sure to snap on the covers properly so they dont come loose and get lost. The carry handles are convenient and there are some bungees to hold things down. Cup holder up front is a decent size. This thing can definitely take a beating and makes it a great affordable beginner class kayak. I found one for 179 and is a great second/backup kayak as well.

I was loaned this kayak from a friend and found it to be pretty darn good. Its very sturdy and can handle some roughness. Which is apparent as my friends definitely put it to use. It tracks decently and you can get some decent speed from it. The foot adjustment system is great and the seat is ok. I did find my self having to readjust here and there as my butt got a bit sore after awhile (2+ hrs). There was no dry storage, but it did have a open storage area in back. It tracks well enough, but had a tendency to start turning or spinning once you stopped paddling which could be slightly annoying when you're trying to get that perfect picture. All in all it would be a good beginners kayak for sure, but is slightly lacking on some features that I find important.

I have had the Arbor 100 for several months now and absolutely love it. From its features to its function its completely enjoyable. For me this was my first kayak and it had everything I was looking for. Starting with the seat. It was one of the better and more comfortable seats I've come across in a starter kayak which is important on long runs. Includes 2 dry and sealed storage areas. 1 small one in front and 1 large one in back. The one in back is part of the bulkhead and has plenty of room. Each comes with a removable bag, but the rear compartment has further room for storage beyond the bag itself. There are sturdy and grip-worthy carrying handles on the front and back of the kayak as well as one on the right side (starboard). On the port side is an oar bungee for when your afloat, shored or carrying. Or as a backup oar holder. There are also 2 gear racks that allow endless possibilities. You can even use this kayak as a fishing kayak if you want which only goes to show its versatility. All in all this was a great beginner/intermediate purchase for me and I have absolutely no regrets!
