Sold my canoe and purchased the lime green viper 10.4 from Menards. Have taken it out three times on local rivers, fast and slow, it tracks ok and is easy to maneuver. So much easier to paddle than my old 18 ft aluminum canoe. Needed something for one person and that is easy to carry by myself. I am a larger person at 6 foot 270 lbs, and I am rather comfortable inside. I only wish the backrest was taller, It is pretty stable, even with my weight. In 2017, the paddle is no longer included, but I did get both with the 11% rebate. So far only one of plastic seat fasteners broke, but easy to replace. I also replaced the front and rear pad-eyes with stainless steel pad-eyes and stainless steel T nuts under for additional strength.
