I bought this canoe used -- a 2003 model -- for $200 from a friend to use as a back-up to my Merrimack -- and for guests to use. It literally sat outside, upside down for 17 years. After scrubbing it down and slapping some Protectant 303 on her, she looks good as new. I just might end up using this beast myself more than the Merrimack. It's a tank. It's big. And Polylink 3 is indestructible. I once had a Discovery 169 flip off my car and drag along the road doing 50 mph until I could pull over. Hardly a scratch. You can't kill these things. My Allagash has dark stained wood and brown webbed seats for a unique look. It also has a tan interior hull, which goes well with the green outer hull. It's a fly-lookin' river mule. Hard to find, but go getcha one.
