I have had this kayak for about six months now. I love the speed and ease of paddling, enabling me to explore greater distances than I could in my previous kayak. I have no trouble keeping up (or even surpassing) my very fit husband during our outings. So far only used it on lakes. Never had a problem with even the largest wakes from speedboats when we are forced to paddle in open areas.
Hope to explore the shoreline near our place on the Sea of Cortez soon. It seems stable enough to use there with no issues. It fits me well (I am 5'6") and I find the seat very comfortable. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this kayak.
