I have owned the Eagle Run kayak from Field and Stream for several months, and find it to be a very versatile boat. The only drawback I have with it is the weight which is about 60 pounds. being 78 years of age it is a bit of a challenge to load on top of a car, but have arranged a good system to do it, using rollers on my car racks, and cushion the trunk with a bath mat.. Works great.. I have also installed a battery box/transom located directly behind the seat, and use a Minnkota 30 trolling motor to power the boat across the lake at 4 mph.. Works great and receives a lot of attention.. All in all I am very pleased with the quality and maneuverability of this kayak.
