We were on Lake Maligne, Alberta Canada in the summer of 2015. My wife and I toured many lakes that year with a pair of kayaks we bought after waiting forever to buy them. She took this picture without my knowledge at the time. It was only after pouring over hundreds of photos from both of our cameras from that summer, that we came across this one. One of our personal favorites. Funny thing was one of her relatives had a stock photo in a frame that she bought, hanging on one of her walls of the exact same spot. We told her that we were there, and she said, “That’s not a real place.”
