Great boat! Best bang for the buck bar none! It's extremely light weight and easy to move through smaller creeks where you have to occasionally trek around obstacles such as fallen trees. If you are an all around kayak-er that paddles everything from white water to inter-coastal water ways to even surfing the beaches this boat is a phenomenal performer. Only complaint is that I wish it had more dry storage for longer trips but, if your a spontaneous day tripper, it's perfect.

great starter kayak. good value for the money. get ready to invest a bit to make it comfortable for you. I added a new seat and bail hole plugs. I'm 5'5" and can hold my own on strength. I have no problem carrying it to and from the truck and getting it in or out the bed of the truck all on my own. if you're taller than 5'10 " or on the heavier side I'd go for the longer or larger size. as for me...this works perfectly
