I have been paddling, and owned, a lot of canoes since 1976. The Adventurer has been the best all-around paddling canoe. From the Missinnabe, to Montreal River and Riviere du Moine, and waves of Lake Huron, this canoe has carried me and my gear, and me and my family, safely through it all. I have owned the Adventurer since I bought it new in 1999 in New Liskeard. It has been patched and repainted and will continue to be of good service for as long as I paddle. I have confidence that the Abitibi co. will do well with this model and I am eyeing their 21' for Lake Superior.---R. S. Manitouwadge ON
